Privacy at Bear Bones FPL
Bear Bones FPL is run by BearBet. This page says what we keep, why, and for how long.
On the website
There's no sign-up and there are no tracking cookies. Your FPL team ID is saved in your own browser so you don't have to type it again, and we send it to our server only to fetch your team's public FPL data. Our server keeps standard access logs (IP address and pages requested) for about two weeks to keep the site running and secure. Traffic passes through Cloudflare.
Mini-leagues
League tables show managers' names and team names as FPL publishes them. We don't add anything to what FPL already makes public.
The Telegram bot
The bot stores your Telegram chat ID, the FPL team ID you follow and your alert settings, until you send /stop, which deletes them.
When you ask the bot a question, the text is sent to Anthropic, the AI provider that writes the answer. We keep the last few messages for 3 hours so follow-up questions make sense, then delete them. We also keep a record that a question was asked (chat ID, time and size, not the text) for 90 days, to manage costs.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
